Santa Cruz to leave City

(GSM) Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz has confirmed that he is set for an exit from Eastlands in the January transfer window.

Despite a high profile transfer from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2009, the 29-year-old was plagued by injuries in his first season at the club and has not got a look in this term.

The striker claims he is injury free and training well, but cannot convince manager Roberto Mancini to hand him a chance.

Competition for places is great and I m working every day to try and convince the coach, but I m still not getting picked, he told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser. I m not getting the playing time to convince anybody and my priority is to leave in the January transfer market.

I m 29 and still hope to fulfil my dream …

West Ham close in on Iheanacho

Iheanacho has struggled to hold down a first team place at the Etihad Stadium with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus ahead of him in the pecking order and manager Pep Guardiola is willing to let him move on.

The twenty-year old broke into City’s first team in the 2015/16 campaign and has since racked up fifty-eight appearances in all competitions though he has started just twenty of those games.

He has scored twenty-one times, a tally that includes the decisive goal in the Manchester D…

Liverpool 5-2 Everton: Origi and Mane star as Klopp claims 100th Premier League win

Divock Origi and Sadio Mane starred as Liverpool stormed to a 5-2 victory in a frantic Merseyside derby, handing Jurgen Klopp his 100th Premier League win.

Six goals were scored in a remarkable first half, with Liverpool who started with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino on the bench supremely clinical in attack, Origi striking either side of Xherdan Shaqiri s first goal of the season.

Origi s second came after Michael Keane had pulled one back for Everton, but Mane provider for Liverpool s first two goals made it 4-1. Richarlison reduced the deficit again in first-half stoppage time, but it was not enough to inspire an Everton comeback after the break.

Instead, Georginio Wijnaldum s late strike rounded out the scoring, leaving Marco Silva s future looks i…

Niantic To Reverse Popular Pokemon Go Update That Increased Spawn Radius

Pokemon Go’s latest update 0.275.0 had players excited after they discovered it doubled the range at which catchable Pokemon appear on the map from 40m to 80m. Despite initial reports suggesting the change was intentional, Niantic has now said that the improvement was a bug that will be reversed. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Because the update notes were so vague, listed only as “quality-of-life updates; minor bug fixes and performance improvements,” players initially weren’t sure if the update was working as intended. A number of reports from Pokemon content creators initially seemed to confirm that the radius increase was in fact intentional, with Pokemon Go Hub explaining “we were told this was not a bug.” …

Redknapp closed for business?

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has rubbished reports of a bid for Sergio Aguero and predicted a quiet deadline day at White Hart Lane.

English Premier League outfit Spurs were linked with an audacious 38.5-million-pound transfer bid for Atletico Madrid striker Aguero on Sunday.

Barca set their sights on Arsenal

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has told his players to forget anything beyond Tuesday s Champions League showdown with Arsenal.

Barca host the Gunners in the second leg of their last-16 tie at the Camp Nou on Tuesday, needing to turn around a 2-1 aggregate after the Spanish giants were felled at the Emirates.

The Catalan club, who were bundled out in the semi-finals by eventual champions Inter Milan in the 2009/10 tournament, are aware of how perilously close they sit to a shock elimination at the hands of the Gunners.

But Guardiola has insisted his players must forget the Champions League race and narrow their focus to merely beating the English Premier League club on the pitch.

When you play these types of game there is always pressure, it s present in …
