Market: Slovenia win
Odds: 4/5 @
Looking to continue on what has been a real Nations League romp so far, Slovenia will host a struggling Kosovo on Sunday night.
Starting with the hosts, while Slovenia would have been disappointed to have settled for a 0-0 draw against Azerbaijan in a friendly contest earlier in the week, Matjaž Kek s men have enjoyed a hugely eye-catching run of form in 2020. Unbeaten in all four of their Group C appearances so far this year and in pole position to secure top spot ahead of Greece, they were last seen on Nations League duties picking up a 4-0 romp away in Moldova. Unbeaten in all six of their contests across all formats since returning from an extended break, Slovenia have also impressed with their continued displays at the back. Remarkably, Sunday s hosts have kept a clean sheet in all six of their matchups in 2020 and they have not conceded a goal on home soil since October 2019.
As for the visitors, while Slovenia might be enjoying an eye-catching run in this year s tournament, Kosovo have really struggled to match a similar level that saw them test England last year. Now needing a minor miracle in Group C, the Blues were hit with a 2-1 defeat away in Albania earlier in the week and have failed to win any of their previous nine contests across all formats, losing seven of those appearances. Without a win to their name since a 2-0 victory over Montenegro 13 months ago, Head Coach Bernard Challandes knows that his side face another tough trip this weekend. Hit with a 1-0 loss when they faced off against Slovenia last month on home soil, we re backing a similar outcome on Sunday night.
Bet: Slovenia 4/5 to beat Kosovo in Sunday s Nations League showdown @
